Nashville International Auto Show

The Nashville International Auto Show was held at the Nashville Convention Center on November 26-28, 2010.  I went on the 26th.  I guess I didn't know what to expect but with a title like "International" I expected it to be more than American and Japanese models.  I was hoping for some of the exotics such as Ferrari or Lambourghini or Maserati or even Jaguar and Porsche but it was not to be.  All of the American makers had their 2011 models there, as did Acura, Toyota, Nissan, and Scion, but that was pretty much it.

Probably the best thing about the show were the women discussing the new models (thanks for the photo, Jessica!).

If one was looking to purchase a new vehicle I'm sure the show was great, but I wanted to see more than just the new models.  There were a few older-model Corvettes on display and a few older-model Nissan "Z" cars (compliments of the Nashville Corvette Club and Nashville Z-Owners Club respectively).  I guess I just expected more and was a bit disappointed.  Oh well, such is life ;)
