Nashville Zombie Walk 2010

All righty then.  Zombies walking around downtown Nashville.  Why not?  It's Tennessee!

According to one of the participants that I talked with this is the fifth annual Nashville Zombie Walk.  It's the first time I've heard of it, but it's a pretty interesting event.  There were probably a thousand or so people dressed up in their best zombie costumes all milling around Riverfront Park.  At 4:00 the walk began and they paraded around the Lower Broadway area just having fun.

I got there a little bit early and took a few photos before the parade began.  I was overwhelmed with people though.  I hadn't expected anything nearly that big, and there were people everywhere.  Well, a few people and a whole bunch of zombies!

As would be expected the costumes ran the entire gamut from basic to extravagant.  I don't know what they were using for blood, but there were gallons of it being spread around!

I don't know about the participants but I had a great time shooting photos.  As usual they don't do the people justice, but they give an idea of what went on.  The quantity of photos barely scratched the surface of the number of participants.  Sorry, but there was no way I could get everyone, there were just far too many people there.

As always, if there is anyone who does not want their photo shown all they have to do is send me an EMail and I'll remove it from the page.  Also as usual, if anyone wants a high-res copy of their photo (at no charge, of course) I'll be glad to send them one.  Drop me an email and let me know which one.
