Etowah L&N Depot & Museum

As part of my quest for Tennessee Historical Commission stamps I stopped at the Etowah L&N Depot in Etowah, TN during a Motorcycle Trip in June, 2009.  The depot served as a main stop for L&N trains until 1974.  The town of Etowah was, as I understand, constructed a spart of the 1454 acre depot site.  The depot itself is now a railroad museum as well as home to the Etowah Chamber of Commerce, the Tennessee Overhill Heritage Tourism Association, and the U.S. Forestry Service
