Rhea County Coutrhouse

As part of my quest for Tennessee Historical Commission stamps I stopped at the Rhea County Courthouse in Dayton, TN during a Motorcycle Trip in June, 2009.  The Rhea County Courthouse is famous for holding the trial of John T. Scopes, a teacher who was charged with including Darwin's Theory of Evolution in his public school class lessons.  More can be read about this incident at This Link on Wikipedia.
